First and foremost I should say that I've been on hiatus since moving across the country (check it, in the last year I lived in two states+the district of columbia last year, worked 4 jobs...in short my taxes are a mess, my life is a mess, I need one thing and one thing only which is a gym membership because I've had like quadruple the stress eating that most people have).
Or do I need 2 things? Because I read on D-listed that folks are trying to raise money for Corey Haim's funeral by hawking Corey Haim memorobilia. And I found this autographed photo of Haim and Feldman and that other guy from the Lost Boys. I could "But It Now" for $50, but Chase says hell no. The utilities say "woah are you joking?". My landlord and the bank that issued my car loan are saying "girl, you got stupid".
But here's the real shit, I've long-harbored a love of the two Coreys (I had a Corey renaissance about five years ago when I rediscovered the Lost Boys, and then the reality show came out...so good). I even tried to nickname my old housemate Corey, which she flat out rejected. And even though JD Salinger and Howard Zinn sadly passed away this year, I actually cried when I learned that Corey Haim died. It's a real tragedy for a life pushed so abrasively into the spotlight and then cut so tragically short. Rest in Peace Corey Haim.
